Our expert team consistently deliver incredible projects; through close collaboration, we develop solutions that deliver the aesthetic and functional requirements of the project, using our expertise and ability to utilise design information.

The majority of the team join us from Clark & Fenn, a business with an impressive history of delivering some remarkable projects such as Birmingham New Street Station, Royal Festival Hall and the Riverside Museum. Working across all major sectors; commercial, healthcare, education, public sector (MoD, MoJ and DfE).

Derek Bennett

Managing Director

Derek has a wealth of experience, joining the Concept team after working at Clark & Fenn Skanska for 18 years, he understands better than anyone the needs of the customer. In an increasingly uncertain market, Derek can put your mind at ease that we can deliver your project on time, safely and within budget constraints.

Mark Swinbank

Preconstruction Manager

Mark is an experienced managing estimator, with a successful track record of offering budget advice, working with clients to develop value engineering solutions, managing costs and building strong relationships with customers.

Steve Simmonds

Project manager

Steve is an experienced construction manager and has delivered some iconic projects ranging from The Scalpel in the city of London to Marble Arch place in the west end of London.

Anila Ahmad

Financial Director

Anila works closely with the team at Concept as the Financial Director. She brings many years of experience to the team and is a credit to Concept Ceilings.
